Bisexual Women - A number of sex studies confirm that the majority of the female population is somewhat bisexual or encounter bisexuality during their lifetime. YET most teenage girls are typically exposed only heterosexuality or homosexuality, which makes it hard for them to grasp bisexuality when they become adults.

They’re afraid people will think that just because they like men and women, they are promiscuous and untrustworthy. Most “closeted” bisexuals prefer not to reveal their sexual orientation to prevent other people from treating them differently.

Most bisexual women feel that stereotypes about bisexuality are what hold them back from revealing their true sexual orientation. They’re uncomfortable revealing their sexual identity to people who might misinterpret them. Stereotypes about bisexuals make them feel very uneasy about coming out.

Some think that if someone calls herself bisexual it’s only for attention, some think that they are just gay and can’t admit it to themselves or the world.”
Most people believe that bisexual women are automatically attracted to other women but in reality NOTHING could be further from the truth.

“People need to know that gay and bisexual people are capable of having perfectly platonic relationships with other people of their gender”.

Must stereotypes against bisexuality are unfounded and unjust. “I hate these stereotypes that bisexual girls are all sluts, or that bisexual people will have sex with anyone,”

Bisexuality stretches our imagination, just like multiracial people do, it forces us to acknowledge complexity, and many people are uncomfortable with that.
